Welcome to Linkcast
Hello World đ» welcome to the Linkcast newsletter! If youâre reading this, you probably like finding good things on the internet. So do I. Thatâs why I built Linkcast.
Why I built this
I spend a lot of time on the web. Articles, podcasts, music, tools, threads, rabbit holes. The problem isnât finding interesting things. Itâs keeping track of them, and sharing them in a way that actually helps other people discover something new.
Most platforms arenât built for that. Theyâre built for engagement. Your bookmarking app is private. Your social feed is optimized. Link aggregators get cluttered with the same URLs posted again and again.
I wanted something simpler:
A public feed of links worth your time
Shared by real people, in chronological order
With enough structure to browse by topic and source, not enough machinery to feel like a content farm
So I built Linkcast.
What Linkcast is
Linkcast is a space for curious minds to share and collect internet links.
Hereâs how it works:
Share a link â Paste a URL on the Share page and Linkcast pulls the title, image, and description automatically.
Explore the feed â Browse what others are sharing. Search by keyword, or filter by domain and tag.
AI-powered tagging â You donât have to organize anything manually. Links are tagged by topic so you can jump into what interests you.
Your link library â Claim a username and build a public profile of everything youâve shared. Export your links anytime as CSV or JSON.
Bookmarks â Save links from the feed to revisit later on your profile.
No duplicate links â Every URL on Linkcast is unique. If someoneâs already shared it, youâll see that instead of a second copy cluttering the feed. The goal is new discoveries, not reposts.
Community â See whoâs active, what topics are trending, and which links people are saving most. Explore Community â
Signal â Weekly audio reports featuring standout links from the feed, generated with NotebookLM. Listen to Signal â
And underneath all of it: no algorithms. The feed is chronological. What rises to the top is what people share and save â not what a ranking system thinks you should see.
What this newsletter is for
This isnât a generic âcontentâ newsletter. Itâs the home for Linkcast itself:
Product updates â new features, improvements, and whatâs coming next
Highlights from the feed â links and themes worth your attention from the community
Iâll keep it concise. If youâre here, you probably donât need another inbox full of noise.
